In the late 1980’s, God began speaking to Deborah of His heart-cry for America and His people who had become complacent. Again and again, she would hear, “Tell My people to return to Me. Call My people to repentance.”
In her time of prayer, she heard God speak to her regarding events that would happen in the future in America if His people didn’t return to Him.
One night in early 2000, Deborah had a vision of the hand of God pointing to America, and heard these words. “You have been weighed in the balance and found wanting.” Immediately, His hand went from a pointing, accusing posture to a protective hand over the nation. Then His voice spoke again. “It’s not too late for America.”
God spoke again of calling His people to repentance, and in response, she wrote a song titled, American Anthem, a Call to the Nation. A few months later, an event rocked the world on September 11, 2001. The towers were attacked and many lives were lost.
Once again, God spoke to Deborah and told her He had lifted His hand of protection for a moment because of our sin. He said we would experience another catastrophic event that would bring devastation, and that if we didn’t repent and return to Him after that, a great judgment would come.
Based on the insight and warnings God had been speaking to Deborah, and His unction for her to do so, she wrote her first prophetic book in 2008 under the original title, America! Can You Hear God Calling?
In September of 2011 Deborah made some minor revisions, changed the cover, and re-released the book with the new title, Red Alert America, Sound the Alarm!
Deborah prophesied devastating storms, destructive hurricanes in Texas and Florida, and terror in Las Vegas with many killed. She prophesied of many events that would (and now have) occur.
Deborah says, “This is a life-giving, life-changing book. It is a prophetic call to come back, not a doomsday book. There is encouragement and hope. God’s heart is to bless us, not destroy us. God wants to bestow His blessings on America and use us to reach multitudes. If we will turn back to Him… if we allow Him to lead us to repentance, He will restore and revive us. He will transform this nation into the light to the world it was intended to be.”
