There is a remnant of faithful servants of God who have weathered the storms, walked through the fire and have continued to press in to Him even in the face of every trial and challenge… and there have been many. This remnant has risen to the challenge to pray for a backslidden church… and for the lost. This remnant has literally been like a battering ram in prayer, battering and smashing at the gates of the enemy who has taken America captive. Soon, these gates will be destroyed and we will go in and possess the land, not for ourselves, but for the Kingdom of God. We will lead the backsliders back to Him and together we will go in unity to reap the great harvest that is awaiting us. God is doing a new thing, are we ready for it?
Isaiah 43:18-19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Now God is positioning us. If we have been faithful, we will be set into places that we only knew by the Spirit of God were possible. Wealth is about to be released in unprecedented ways. God is already shifting things around to get us ready, and the things we were doing will change for a great number of us. We have been occupying, but now that the new season is here, we will possess. Promises will be fulfilled… we will see many kingdom minded remnant servants moved into positions of authority in a single day.We are in a new season. It is time to let go of anything that we looked to in the past, even the good things of yesterday, and embrace what is ahead. The season of reaping has come, and though the unfaithful will reap what they have sown, the faithful will also reap a harvest.
Which side are you on?
The other side to this is that there is a large number of Christians that have not been faithful, and many of these hold powerful positions in the Christian kingdom. There are pastors, high ranking ministers and apostolic ministers who have acted as hirelings and have either neglected or harmed God’s precious ones. There are some in blatant sin and others whose sin is complacency and self will. God has sent His servant prophets to these men and women, and they have not heeded the warnings. In a single day they will be removed and displaced by those who God has found faithful and ready to serve in these positions. When Joshua was leading his people into the Promised Land he saw the angel of the Lord, and he asked, ‘which side are you on?’ The angel replied that he was on God’s side. What about you? Which side are you on? Are you one of those faithful remnant servants who obey Jesus Christ and pursue holiness and intimacy with Him? Or are you one of those who has lived a life of self will and self indulgence, expecting God to bless you no matter what you do?What will you do with His call? Each of us has a purpose and a destiny. Each of us has been called to do something in God’s kingdom, but we need to allow Him to clean us up and put us into position. If we resist in this hour, we will be passed over because it’s time for the kingdom work to be done.
Let His Kingdom come
In the Lord’s Prayer, it says “let Your kingdom come… let your will be done… on earth as it is in heaven.” Do we mean it when we say that prayer? His kingdom should be established in our hearts, and then His will will be done in us and through us. Do we not realize how much power we have when we are truly walking in His will and His ways? If we are the sons and daughters of the King of Kings, then we have been empowered to carry out His edicts and be His emissaries. The prophets of old were often sent to speak to the people of possible judgment on the entire nation if they didn’t turn back to God. The condition of Israel always worsened when God’s people became complacent, but God called them to repentance so He would not have to judge them unless they had gone too far. He gave them a way out.
Come Back to Our First Love
I often post things that are shocking revelations about the rapidly declining condition of our nation. God is trying to wake us up. He has fervently called to us to come back to our first love. He has sent prophets to warn us of coming disasters if we don’t heed, but His heart’s desire is that we change our hearts and change our ways. He has allowed us grace for a long time, and many have presumed on His grace as license to sin. Yet, He has continued to lovingly woo us back to Him.
It is important to understand the condition of our nation and the possibilities of judgment, not to send us into depression or cause us to be fearful, and not to cause us to have a fatalistic response, but because God gave us the ultimate power…. prayer! The prayers of the righteous (and we need to make sure we are hidden in His righteousness) ‘avail much’, and move mountains. Our prayers can make the difference in the direction of a nation. Let’s not let go! God is responding to the fervent prayers of His people on behalf of America, and He is about to do something BIG!
God is going to release many who have been taken captive by the enemy’s deception. He is going to do amazing things before our eyes, and we will marvel at His mighty hand at work.
Isaiah 49:24-25 says, Who can snatch the plunder of war from the hands of a warrior? Who can demand that a tyrant let his captives go? But the Lord says, “The captives of warriors will be released, and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved….”
Revival is birthed with the changing of hearts through prayer, then it overflows to those around us and spreads like wild fire. I want to encourage you to keep pressing in to His presence, and keep praying for our nation to turn, one heart at a time.
